Grupo Industrial Plastico S.A. de C.V was created in 1972, as a Guadalajara University Chemical Engineer dream. At the beginning, the company was ubicated in Atemajac del Valle, and it first activity was focused on no printing bag making. It was not until 1974, when the company's personnel were about only 25 people, when GIPSA gives it first steps into Flexographyc Printing System.

The 80´s were fundamental for GIPSA´s working team development since in 1984 moves it facilities, buying a spacious 15,000m2 land at Zapopan District. By the other hand, in 1988 the company purchased another machine to diversify it bag making production, initiating in process color printing business.

At the 90´s, positively important changes happened in the Company: GIPSA acquired state of the art technology equipment, with the most advanced process and machinery in the worldwide Plastic Industry. This remarkable and continuos development has given GIPSA the extraordinary capacity to offer quality packages to a large number of clients, aimed to industrial markets both national and international and being recognized in Mexico for our excellent flexographic printing quality.

From year to year GIPSA products have been evolving side by side to our consumer needs, collaborating in different industries and diverse markets. Since it beginnings GIPSA has been present in a wide range of products: From supermarket and department stores plastic bag; in to the food industry we can point up candy's, snacks, cookies, frozen fruit and vegetables, between others; to pet food, detergent, toilet paper, diapers and feminine care products markets.

At this moment we are a dynamic organization, that sees the future with optimism, having a entrepreneur working team able to stand up to the hardest challenges at today's worldwide markets. We are an harmonic integrated company totally committed to the highest standards and contributing with our products to the commune well
